Plotting on using mostly just for storing lots of pictures and music and my iTunes stuff and for some web surfing too. So which netbook would be best for that stuff and has a lot of memory?

I suggest you to choose one of the following:
MSI Wind
Acer Aspire One
They have similar technical characteristics.
HP mini’s have gotten really excellent reviews and my friend has one. Not as expensive as macs either. Excellent notebook in my opinion
The only Netbooks that I know of by name are Acer’s One series. Unfortunately, they aren’t MP3 players, and don’t even have built in speakers, nor a CD drive.
i use a eeepc from asus.
they are quick and have a huge hard disk.
never had problems with it.
i even leave it in dust and nothing happened to it so far!

well the smallest it is i guess the best … i have azus it is cheap and really cool

Go for a mac Just see how terrible it will treat you.
