I know a certified refurbished laptop has been used, but what about scratch and dent?
I am debating whether to buy scratch and dent or refurbished laptop, same spec, similar price, but obviously cosmetic hurt doesn’t bother me but a used laptop does.
Just ordered a ‘scratch and dent’, they sent me a ‘refurbished’ (used) model. Currently trying to exchange or return w/o restocking fee. Like you, I did not want a used laptop, minor cosmetic imperfections on a ‘scratch and dent’ would be fine. So be careful when ordering, although I was and it did me no excellent.
Update, Dell rep is telling me that ‘scratch and dent’ is essentially a refurbished with more cosmetic blemishes than other refurbs. What B.S.
I’m not sure but i’ve been looking at them aswell if anyone could answer how ancient a referbed laptop is or how much it’s been used that would be helpfull.
