My school uses Dell desktops, but Acer laptops. The computers at school seem to work excellent, so why does everybody say that Dell sucks?

Dell’s are terrible. I had a Dell laptop that over the course of a year and a half had hardware problems FOUR times! Lost so much stuff. School notes I needed during exams. I was so screwed. Than their customer service is in India and I had to call them so many times and than just wait on hold for HOURS. I have an incredible hatred for Dell and for windows alike now. Hi I’m a Mac.
They have some fantastic deals but their tech support and customer service can suck.
They work well until they don’t work at all. I had a dell laptop and their customer service was horrible. Foolishly, we bought a $2000.00 laptop from Dell. 2 weeks after the warranty was done the entire mother board crashed. Dell wanted nothing to do with us. They wouldn’t even give us a deal on a refurbished laptop. I have no respect for them. Besides, can’t stand waiting online for another country to help me.

Dell is a reputable company that has forged many deals across the educational sector. They have received negative clout recently due to their suffering stock price and what I would call “lack of the wow factor” in their products. My company uses Dell Exclusively. Laptops, servers, workstations. And Ive bought 2 Dell laptops recently. They are pretty excellent computers. People will only have terrible opinions if they have terrible experience, so they are quick to chime in. But a fantastic laptop or computer is just what you expect so people dont rave on it. On any forum on any type of product, you only hear the terrible experiences. In this case dont reckon that Dell is terrible. They are pretty dang excellent.
dell does not suck,they are one of the best companies going.acer sux so dont go there.i would get my laptop from there i have a pc from there and its awesome.and i know a few ppl with a laptop from dell and they like them
