I have a toshiba satellite laptop and just bought a game that required a better graphics card than I have, is there anyway I can upgrade or change my graphics card so I can play my game or do I need a new laptop?

Since the “card” is integrated on the motherboard, you can’t. Gateway makes (or used to – the 7805 is the latest excellent design to be discontinued) some laptops with real video cards, so you can replace them in the future.
Updated my before and after pictures, I look like a whole changed me
You need a new laptop, unless you have a super-boutique laptop (like Vood Envy, or Alienware Area 51 m), and SOME (not all) of them may have “video modules” that can be replaced.
