I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4417 laptop and I have noticed my computers running slow. I want to upgrade my RAM but I don’t know if my motherboard can handle it. I currently have 2GB of RAM installed and am running Vista 32 bit.

Go to the following link, http://www.crucial.com they can do an on line check which will determine which ram your motherboard supports. They will recommend the optimum amount. You can order on line and although they are not the cheapest it is worth paying for excellent ram. Chances are your board will support up to 4GB in a 2x2GB configuration, but running a 32-bit vista means you wont use it all
