i have tried to connect my dell latitude c540/c640 to my tv using tv out with a s-video cable but nothing happens.
it says that my tv out port is on but it also says that nothing is connected.
why does my computer not detect it.
Help!!!!
P. S Its not the cable because i have tried it on my brothers laptop also using the same tv.

I want to show my laptop on tv. I have connected my vga cord from my laptop (sony vaio fs550, with intel video controler) to my tv (Advent) and it doesn’t show. I tried connecting before I turn laptop and tv on. Can you please help.

I bought a used laptop, sony vaio model sz220b I was just wondering how i can completley format the computer making it like i just bought it new.

I have a Microsoft® Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 v2 wireless keyboard and a Dell Inspiron 1501. . . I can place it into sleep mode. . . but not wake it up. What do I do? SO I need a docking station?
