I have an ancient Dell Latitude that constantly drops the signal and freezes up my computer when I use my Dell Truemobile 1300 PC Wireless Card. The card is in my PCMCIA slot; if i take it out and place it back in again it works for a few minutes, and then freezes up again. Is there any way i can fix this? Would changing the BIOS work? If so, how do I do it?

I have an Acer Aspire 3000 laptop here and when it boots into Windows it nearly locks up. It goes so slow that when you go the mouse cursor it takes ages for it to go and then freezes before it moves again. I removed the main battery and it is fine without it. Every time I re-insert the battery the problem comes back. I have booted into Windows without the battery and re-inserted it but the problem remains. Any thoughts anyone?

My Acer Aspire netbook is fantastic, but for some reason it changes the zoom level when I am using the mouse (my screen goes from 100% zoom to anywhere from 10% to 200%. I have right-clicked on it to no avail, and I reckon it is some default that is set. Unfortunately, there is a sensitivity there on that command that is driving me nuts! Help please! Thanks.
