I’m plotting on buying a Sony Vaio FW series, but i can’t seem to find any accurate depictions of its battery life. If anyone has it or any thought , can you tell me about how much hours/minutes of battery life you are getting and what you are doing when testing it?

I am a student in Nairobi Kenya. I really need a laptop since the University is getting connected. It hurts me in some countries they are so common that they are of small value. What I need is a way to convince someone to send one which is not in use. In Kenya laptops are not affordable to most like me. Even getting a used one is impossible.
Where can I get anyone who is willing to give up a laptop instead of throwing it away?
I really need one in my studies now that internet is being place at college. I could also use it to find opportunities online.
Someone please help me on what step I can take to get one. I currently use public cyber cafes which charge. Our University can never also afford enough computers. Help out if you can and I will be glad.

I BOUGHT A USED LAPTOP AT A GARAGE SALE AND I CAN’T GET INTO IT BECAUSE IT HAS THE ORIGINAL OWNERS PASSWORD. IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET INTO THE LAPTOP? PREVIOUS OWNER DOESN’T REMEMBER THE PASSWORD.
