I let my brother borrow my computer and when i came back to it everything on the screen was flipped sideways! how do i set it back to normal? it is a Gateway laptop.

I’m such a novice when it comes to these techno things. I’ve done a search and have identified what components to look for when buying a notebook now I’m confused about which to buy – a general notebook or an Apple Macbook (thanks Evan)? So if anyone can provide their opinion and knowledge, especially if you have used both and have found one to be better for whatever reason that’d be fantastic! Hopefully, this will help me pick one. Thanks
