Ok im looking for a cheap simple to use laptop or desktop. I basicaly only need to; Upload and edit photos, play music, have word(school), and enough internet to check yahoo and a few other things. But other than that i dont need a huge,fancy,tons of feactuers desktop or laptop. Any thoughts please help.

I am using a generic driver w/allows internet access but the wlan driver is the last one I need to bring my pc back to its original state.
So far I see this under specs: Acer InviLink 802. 11b/g wireless LAN driver aspire 4520, but I don’t know where the driver d/l is located.

I am trying to convince my mom to let me get a laptop, but I need some suggestions first.
I would be using the laptop for iTunes, my pictures, and Internet Explorer.
A Mac is a bit expensive, so I was leaning more on the less fancier ones.

I recently bought an M-1617 gateway laptop and I thought I wouldn’t have any problems with it, unfortunately I cannot seem to open some programs such as Windows movie maker and even some games because of a video card incompatibility. Does anyone know what kind of video card I should get for this and how exactly do i install this?

For an apple macbook, do you need to use apple’s ram, or can it just be any laptop ram?
