Does The Acer Aspire 5536 Model Have Lcd Screen Malfunction Issues Commonly?

I have read a couple of reviews that Acer laptops have LCD screen malfunction issues. Has the issue been resolved in the Acer Aspire 5536 model? Seeking feedback of actual users of the laptop or people who know those who use this particular model. Please advise! Thanks in advance!

What’s The Largest Monitor I Can Connect To A Apple Macbook 2ghz Model?

I want to order one for use with my music software because my current 17 is not huge enough for the kind of editing I do but with this monitor there are 2 horizontal black margins on the top and bottom of the screen. If I set the screen to another resolution so they disappear the screen looks wierd.
I want to not make the mistake of buying the larger screen for nothing. I really like using my macbook with xp. It is stable and I get the best of both worlds but if I wont be able to use a huge apple monitor with it then then I will have to search for a another powerful laptop that I can connect a huge monitor to.

How To Get An Unlock Code For An Ibm Thinkpad P3-700 Model A-20m Or Unlock The Same Model.?

I bought a used ibm thinkpad p3-700, type 2628 4-xu, model a-20m and accidentally locked it. I tried to get the info from the guy but he didn’t know it either so basically I’m stuck. How can I get the unlock code or unlock it? Can I get a recovery disk and repartition the drive? I would only do that as a last resort tho.

What Is The Best Compatible Replacement Motherboard And Hard Drive For My 5+ Year Old Ibm Thinkpad Model A31p?

I am having problems with my system board and want to replace it and the HDD too while I’m at it.
I have an IBM ThinkPad A31p model number 2653-H3U. The laptop is ancient I know, but it ran well up until recently.
I know the OEM is a 60GB IDE HDD, but I’m not real sure about the system board specs.
I’m looking for a excellent balance of cost effectiveness and performance. I’m not really interested in increasing the available HDD space too much. Maybe an 80 or 100GB drive will do.
Another thing I’m trying to determine is will it be worth my time, energy and $$$ to swap these 2 components out, or should I just buy a new laptop?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
