I’m senior in high school who is going to get a laptop as a graduation gift. I’ve been reading around and many have been saying that apple is coming out with a new version of the macbook soon. Does anyone know when these new versions are coming out? Apple is so secretive with their info I would despise to get a laptop and then two weeks later find out that they have released a new version.

I am thinking of buying a laptop in the coming weeks, I wanted to universities and small, so I thought maybe I should get a netbook for its size I want, and they seem to be cheaper than most small notebooks newspapers . Are there any disadvantages of waiting for a netbook missing CD / DVD? I have very rarely used the unit in any event and can be distinguished from one another, if I had to.

View my father, I want a laptop from Apple, since it is the "Apple" notebook. He claims that can be found in Dell notebooks at a fraction of the cost and still have the same product. I reckon otherwise. I am looking for points to defend my case, why Apple be better than a Dell computer instead of 4 years of college. Thanks in advance! Note: I will focus on business
