]]> I have an Acer Aspire 3000 laptop here and when it boots into Windows it nearly locks up. It goes so slow that when you go the mouse cursor it takes ages for it to go and then freezes before it moves again. I removed the main battery and it is fine without it. Every time I re-insert the battery the problem comes back. I have booted into Windows without the battery and re-inserted it but the problem remains. Any thoughts anyone?

]]> Just yesterday my keyboard and mouse really went out on my Acer Aspire 4530 laptop. It is still under warranty and hopefully I can get it fixed or get a different computer but today that computer says that there is no battery detected. I unplugged my computer and it shut off. Not only that but some time ago my Crystal Eye webcam stopped working. My huge worry is the batter, how long is the average life of a laptop battery? Should I need a new one now?
