I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S1712 laptop that has a 1. 8GHz Celeron and I reckon a Pentium M uses the same socket. But I am unsure what processors will be compatible with the laptop’s chip set. Please help!

CPU chips are hardwired (soldered to the motherboard) and chipsets are made for the existing CPU only in consumer portables.
Only High-end modular gaming or business models will allow you to easily change CPUs.
