you can call the Toshiba parts department for free to get a part number OR you can go on ebay and look for used parts there. I was able to get brackets for an LCD for an HP laptop a few months ago.
PS I did many repairs on Dell laptops (Certified Dell Tech Here) and they switched name brands on the LCD. *Above person has a good point, but it's not always the case*

In order for you to identify exactly what type of screen you have, you would need to remove the lcd from your old laptop. In the back, the information about LCD should be listed. Here's link on how to remove the lcd. http://www.fonerbooks.com/laptop_5.htm
Go to Ebay for purchasing screen. I bought my DELL LCD on ebay and installed it myself. Pretty easy.

STOP!!
Do NOT buy a screen until you take apart the laptop.
You MUST find what the exact make/model of the lcd panel is. Find the sticker on the back of the lcd panel with the maker and model number, and find that EXACT replacement.
Once i bought a lcd panel for a gateway just going by the laptop model number. When i tried to install it, didnt work. found out gateway used 3 different lcd panels on that model..and none were interchangable.
I was stuck with a $200 unusable lcd panel ...the wiring was different from the different manufacturers.
