Hold F10 while computer is starting. This will bring up the recovery screen. Choose Advanced>Destructive Recovery>Follow the on screen prompts. Recovery takes about an hour. You will then need to go to Microsoft and, download all the updates. Save any music, pictures or, other files you want to keep to CD or, DVD first. After you have downloaded the updates. Reinstall any other programs that you want or, need. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

i believe that if you hold F11 while rebooting the computer it should take you to a recovery partition on the hard drive. that will allow you to reformat the hdd to factory settings in other words put it back to the way you bought it if that doesn't work feel free to email me (dmanshouse@yahoo.com) ima x fire-dog tech (circuit city pc tech) that's the most basic way there may be some others.
