I have a HP Pavilion Special Edition Laptop and the touch volume control freezes up my computer all the time, it gets annoying. Does anyone know how to stop it from freezing whenever I want to change the volume on my computer?

i had the exact same problem . here is what u do.
go to start
type “msconfig” in search
run it
go to startup
uncheck the box that say hp quicktouch
now restart pc
u r all gud
now when you change the volume the ******* freezing
