For an apple macbook, do you need to use apple’s ram, or can it just be any laptop ram?
You can get RAM from a zillion places. Just go to their websites and get the right memory. The websites today question for the specific model pc/mac or laptop that you want to add memory to, and they will sell you the EXACT RIGHT memory for YOUR SPECIFIC PC/MAC!!! It is really VERY simple and foolproof.
There’s no such thing as Apple Branded RAM. Just get the right type of memory and you will be fine. Don’t get the memory from Apple, though. so some dumb reason, Apple charges about twice what everyone else charges.
