		<description>It is possible that dust is clogging the cooling path, or the fan may be broken.  It&#039;s not your motherboard.  Unless you are experienced with laptop disassemly, you should probably take it to a shop.   I changed the fan assembly on my wife&#039;s laptop, and found I had to almost completely disassemble the laptop to do it.</description>

		<description>Dell fans are usually very quiet, so you won&#039;t hear much. 
Put you fingers right next to the fan (see picture). You should feel air flow if the fan is running normally. If the fan is dead, it should be relative easy to replace it (see the link - Dell provides excellent part replacement instructions). 
Latitude C600 is Pentium III system, so it&#039;s normal for it to be pretty hot, unlike Centrinos.</description>
