I’m looking for an easily portable laptop or netbook to use for website development. How well do they work for this purpose? Should I just get a laptop instead of a netbook?

I’m thinking of purchasing a netbook, but I’m not sure about the memory space. Most have around 2GB, as I know. I’d only use it for iTunes and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP, etc. ) and general internet browsing. Can netbooks support this type of use or would a regular laptop be best?

I need something very affordable and the only things i do are surf the web, play a few online games every now and then and listen and manage my music. My dad’s laptop which i was using for music broke but i luckily have all my music on an external HD. . . So right now, i have no music on my iPod. Being able to play games such as runescape and warcraft battle. net will also be a nice feature so thank you for your help.

So I was wondering wether to get a lenovo or some other notebook. My budget is perfect for lenovo’s price range but im a small unfamiliar with em. I heard that they are different than others such as dell, hp, etc in the way that it uses different programs, software and such. Like i heard it does not use microsoft or windows??? Then how is the function of this netbook. More specifically, the Lenovo Ideapads

I am thinking about buying a netbook laptop for school. . I would only use it for writing papers, internet, and storing pictures. . Would a netbook be excellent for what I need? Or should I consider a different computer?
Please state your best opinions! I would really like the help!
