i want to post pieces of my dvd vacation video to youtube. my gateway laptop vista has a dvd player/burner.
how do i copy from the dvd to my laptop window video player?

I have a gateway mx6650 laptop with a standard VGA monitor output and my mac 30″ show has only a DVI-D dual link connector. Will my laptop, with an ATI 3D RAGE PRO PCI video card, be able to power the 30″ with some kind of VGA to DVI-D converter? All I want to do is test the monitor to see if it will turn on, but it won’t turn on without an input. Any help is appreciated, TIA!

I want to replace the disc drive on my M1617 laptop from gateway. My current disc drive does work, but it is tray-less and there for can not use mini-disks. So are there any pop out disk drives out there that are usable in a M1617 Gateway laptop?

I have a Gateway laptop that I bought in 2006. It has Windows Vista Ultimate, 1GB of RAM, and about 80GB of storage. It in fantastic condition. For how much should I sell it? If you need more details, tell me.

I’ve found instructions for Battery Auto Learning for Gateway laptop batteries within the BIOS, but I have an Acer laptop (Aspire 1660), and when I tried to follow those directions, the “Battery Auto Learning” option was not listed. Is there a way for me to do a similar function on my computer as Gateway users have?
