i currently use a dell latitude D410 laptop, running windows XP office. there is a volume control right above the keyboard. when i first got the computer, when i changed the volume it used to show a green meter on the screen indicating how high or low the volume was. that has since disappeared. any thought as to how i can turn it on again? i’m assuming it’s simple, but i have searched all over to no avail.

Im in the market for a CHEAP used laptop. I would use it mainly for MSN messenger (video and voice) and some internet browsing. What are the RECOMMENDED (not minimum) specs i would need to run these programs honestly efficiently. . . RAM, processor, operating system etc etc. Brands and online stores that sell would also b a huge help. Thanks!

hi, got an ancient ibm thinkpad 760xl laptop running windows 98se. does anyone know if i can use a belkin wirelles card in it. i have tried installing, but doesnt seem to work. Does the machine support wireless??

i have tried to connect my dell latitude c540/c640 to my tv using tv out with a s-video cable but nothing happens.
it says that my tv out port is on but it also says that nothing is connected.
why does my computer not detect it.
Help!!!!
P. S Its not the cable because i have tried it on my brothers laptop also using the same tv.

Does anyone know any excellent websites, where you can buy cheap new/used/refurbished laptops.
