I have bought a dell Latitude D510 but original owner is no where to be found. . . i called dell but they wont help can anyone help me?

I have an ancient Pentium 3 dell latitude c600, it’s in working condition except the hard drive bay is missing, so I can’t place a Hard drive in it; does anyone know where I could find this part?

I just got an IBM thinkpad T23 and cannot get my USB mouse to work. I had an HP and there was a button to “turn off mouse pad” on the laptop in order to use an external mouse, but I can’t find a similar button. The devices are all working properly, the mouse has power, any thoughts?

my dad needs one for work but has never been on a computer before so i will have to teach him and i have never used vista before so it can’t come with vista.
